Problem: Short of investing in whole mining companies, it is extremely difficult to invest in individual mining expeditions or sites. (According to the Motley Fool, the only way to invest in mining is through ETFs or individual stocks).
Solution: A website/app like Robinhood (democratized investing) or Otis (culture as an asset) that securitizes potential mining expeditions to democratize investing in these opportunities. It would make it easier to invest in the people who are hoping to extract resources from new locations by allowing you to be one (of many) investors/patrons.
Monetization: Small fee to invest with the platform or every time the company securitizes an expedition they also receive shares for the expedition.
