WE POST ONE NEW BILLION-DOLLAR STARTUP IDEA every day.

Problem: Learning languages are not fun: I want to be able to learn a language while doing something I enjoy.

Solution: Henri Pierre-Jacques’ Tweet is a great start on a solution (below, thanks Henri for the thought-provoking tweet!). The business would innovate ways to use music, dance, and translation as an introduction to language learners for users of the platform. It could integrate with music services that you already use and show side-by-side translation as a form of learning. The introductory lessons could start with basic nursery rhymes in different languages (which generally are easier to understand) and eventually progress to levels of advanced conjugation, speaking, colloquialisms and more.

Examples of this business actually already exist in the wild too: one of my favorite Spanish-learning podcasts that I use while driving to and from work is Spanish Con Salsa. It’s designed to use salsa music as an introduction to Spanish language learning and has changed the way I listen to Despacito.

Monetization: Selling a subscription to be on the platform, or providing it for free and monetizing the advertisements.
