Written by Nathan Myhrvold, “Road Kill on the Information Highway.” Published as a memo at Microsoft in September 1993 and originally given as a speech in July 1994, this work makes predictions about the worlds of communications, retail banking & financial services, wall street, print-based media, broadcast television networks, Hollywood, and personal computers 40 years into the future (2033).
